Your information in "The Bone Health Revolution" is so helpful and thorough. I was diagnosed in November (after DEXA) with osteoporosis of the spine and osteopenia of femoral hip. As I understand from your book that this is not the entire story due to machines, interpretation.

I mentioned to my doctor that I wanted nothing to do with Fosamax, etc. Her only comment was "as a doctor I have to tell you about the drugs". I now understand from your words that she was covering her bases with malpractice. So... I am so glad I found your site when I was looking for info about Fosamax.

Regarding my mother - she mentioned the possible correlation between Fosomax and her blurred vision to both of her doctors (backed up by your book and the NEJM paper) and neither have responded.

So, about 1 1/2 months ago, she went off the Fosomax and guess what? Yes, the blur has fully resolved. She is so happy and has only realized this week, as the last of the spot is gone, how much the blurred vision had been effecting every aspect of her life.

I have your book the Bone Revolution. It is excellent! I am following the way you propose to eat and exercise and the idea of an alkaline body ~  for many years now, but the new system of measuring bone density put me in the osteoporosis category. Regular XRays from the chiropractor, do not show any bone loss to be concerned about.
